Open Day at Summerhill Park Kindergarten – A Day of Community and Connection

Updated: Jun 6

We recently welcomed families through the gates of Summerhill Park Kindergarten for our annual Open Day — and what a wonderful day it was!

Bathed in perfect autumn sunshine, the kinder came to life with the buzz of excited children, curious parents, and friendly conversation. It was fantastic to meet so many local families, and to see our spaces filled with laughter, questions, and new connections.

We were especially delighted by the diverse mix of families who visited. It was a joy to hear stories from different backgrounds and cultures, all coming together with a shared interest in early childhood education and a supportive community environment.

There was a genuine sense of belonging in the air — a reflection of the inclusive, welcoming values we hold at Summerhill Park Kindergarten. The day felt less like a tour, and more like an opportunity to build relationships and celebrate what makes our kinder so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We loved showing you what we're all about and look forward to seeing some of you again soon!
